I want to express my thanks for your help yesterday in getting me up and running again with the Glock after years of it sitting in my gun cabinet waiting for me to be inspired to get back underway with my basic self-defense program. Hopefully now I will stay with this initiative to a positive conclusion.

I though your training curriculum, teaching style and obvious expertise were exactly what I needed and was hoping for. Being fundamentally familiar with but respectful of firearms, I would recommend you training to anybody who inquired. I thought your instructional message and style addressed both overcoming a student’s reluctance to take up shooting while stressing a strong, stern safety ethic and practice.

I recently attended a NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting class taught by Susan Wood of WIBestDefence, LLC. I wanted to say a few words about the class, Susan and her teaching style. The material is concise, pertinent and easy to follow. Susan does an excellent job of teaching the material and ensuring students learn safety as well as firearm skills. If any students had questions, they were answered before moving on to the next topic. When the classroom portion was done, Susan took the students to an indoor range for live fire. Again, safety was paramount. Susan is a certified Range Safety Officer and those skills were evident during the live fire. Clear instructions were given and students were taught how to load, handle and shoot their firearms while maintaining a safe environment. At the end of the class there was an exam. If any student got an answer wrong, Susan took the time to ensure they not only understood the correct answer, but also the underlying concept regarding that question. Throughout the class, it was evident that Susan truly enjoys teaching and has the patience, skills and mindset to conduct valuable training for new shooters.
